Jaaliyah Heart and Kidney recipient

This page was started to help Jaaliyah and her single mom who is her caregiver. Jaaliyah was born with Cardiomyopathy and they called her Swiss Cheese heart. Jaaliyah was blessed by a grieving family selfless act of kindness with her first Heart Transplant at the age of 1. She had that beautiful gift for 19 years with ups and downs she started to have complications and ended up having a stroke and heart attack. They had to place Jaaliyah on ECMO machine and sedated her to try and save her life. Several doctors just like when she was an infant told her mom she wouldn’t make it but just like when she was a baby one doctor refused to give up help fight for her. Jaaliyah has spent most of her life in and out hospitals, doctors offices, surgery etc. She even graduated high school via robot while in ICU. She was attending college to become a nurse when she had the stroke and heart attack and since the Second Heart Transplant and first Kidney transplant she has had to put school on pause. Her mom has been unable to work full time as being Jaaliyah care taker. She recently fell behind on all her bills. They have cut her gas off and now threatening to cut electricity and water. I started this page to help take some of the burden off mom while she nurse and love Jaaliyah back to health.
