The Hope on Wheels Project

W
Story

I am living with chronic pain and fatigue caused by Fibromyalgia, which has taken away much of my independence and ability to fully enjoy life. Simple activities that others may take for granted, like going out, spending time with loved ones, or attending events, often feel impossible because of the pain and physical strain. I frequently have to miss out on opportunities and meaningful experiences because my body cannot handle the walking or exertion required. Over time, this has caused me to lose out on making memories and participating in important moments in my life. My medical conditions make it difficult for me to move around and complete daily activities. I often have to sacrifice time and avoid certain activities because I cannot walk long distances without significant pain, fatigue, or discomfort. Having a wheelchair would help me maintain my independence, conserve energy, and improve my ability to participate in everyday life. Better mobility support would help me regain some independence and allow me to be more present in everyday experiences instead of constantly being limited by pain. I am asking for support to help me purchase a wheelchair so I can regain my independence and participate more fully in life. Any contribution, big or small, would mean so much to me and help me take this important step forward.
