We started this page to show The Heffernan Family how much they are loved and appreciated, not only by their extended family and close friends, but also the Cypress/Northwest Houston surrounding communities. Since before 2017, Heffernan Barbecue has been a well-known name. They have demonstrated a love for the art of mastering quality barbecue and wonderful side dishes, plus delicious desserts! They have given generously in donations, catering local events and supporting other small businesses in Cypress. Many friends and customers of Heffernan Barbecue know the history of the family and the heartbreaking passing of Robert in 2017. Since his passing, Evan picked up the torch and has perfected Robert’s dream. The family persevered, Evan with the meat specialties, Jeannie with the amazing sides(love her Mac and Cheese) and Jennifer and Sandra with delicious desserts. Their hospitality and love they have for the people they serve is rare in today’s culture. Recently, Jeannie had to have an unexpected, serious surgery. She was in the hospital for several days and now home resting. This was an emergency, therefore hard decisions had to made pertaining to their business. We are asking you, as their family, friends and customers to show your kindness and love through the opportunity to give back.
