Larry Waid is self-employed. He cleans various locations in Meadville and the surrounding area second-shift. Over the last couple of months or so he has had several concerning medical issues including a stroke, seizure, syncope, migraines, concussion, and heart surgery. He has been to the Meadville ER several times as well as Hamot Hospital. The doctors have continued to run many tests but so far have not determined a specific cause. Larry is under medical watch but is basically going day by day should another episode occur. This is very stressful on Larry, Chris, and their family. Larry’s unpredictable health has caused him to lose several days of work as well as income. His children, grandchildren, and a couple of friends have been trying to help with cleaning the businesses to keep them afloat. Everyone has been understanding. Chris, Larry’s wife, works 3 hours a day but has her own health issues that limit her. They need our support. Larry has been directed to take it easy, rest when he is able, don’t do anything strenuous, and limit working. He is a bit stubborn and plans to try to do some of the cleaning as he is able. He hasn’t been able to keep up with shopping, chores around the house, and yard work like he would like to.
