If you know me at all you know that I am typically an independent person and am really not great at asking for help, but I can’t do this alone. So here I am, leaning on my community. :) My surgery date is October 28th. (Soon!) I live alone in a studio apartment with my dog Nova. If you are here and offering to help, please know that it means so much that you want to keep me fed and cared for. Even if you just read or share this. I love you all eternally and I am so grateful to be surrounded by people who care and want me to have a smooth recovery. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Things that will be helpful/needed: •Bringing meals over that I can pop in the oven, or microwave. Or sending money/GC for door dash! •Probably also random stops at the store too plz. •Helping with cleaning, especially dishes, laundry or the bathroom. I can't imagine these will be something I am able to do myself the first week or two. •Dog walking- If you have experience walking a strong dog, taking Nova would be amazing. He is a pit-mix and is forever excited about life, and so full of love and poops. I don’t have a yard and he will need to go in the mornings and evenings. 😅 I put some times on the calendar but if you sign up for something, you can ultimately message me to iron out details as needed.
Please NO cilantro, raw onion, brussel sprouts, pumpkin, butternut squash, coconut, walnuts, banana, marionberry or huckleberry. I either greatly dislike or am allergic to these fruits/veggies/gourds/nuts. Favorite foods: Pasta, soup + grilled cheese, breakfast foods, pastries, fresh fruit + cheese + crackers (a lil *char-cutie* board is my best girl-dinner) and probably most comfort foods in general. For sweet flavors I love peanut butter, caramel, chocolate, almond, and salty/sweet mixtures.
