SSTP Mutual Aid Community Supply

W
Story

Welcome to the Silver Spring Takoma Park Mutual Aid (SSTPMA) Give In Kind page! We’re an entirely community-run network of your neighbors redistributing resources to meet immediate needs in our community. We believe in solidarity, not charity: just neighbors supporting neighbors. We support our community with direct financial aid and other care, including food assistance, translation help, community gardening and cleanups, repair clinics, social events, and more. This page helps us distribute much needed supplies through Mutual Aid Community Fests, Community Schools, and Little Free Pantries across our neighborhoods. Everything you donate here goes directly to those who need it. Please give what you can to help keep resources moving. You can drop off at any of our pick up locations or purchase directly off our Amazon wishlist. Gift cards and financial contributions help us respond quickly to urgent requests. If donating via Venmo, please include “SSTPMA” in the note. Learn more: https://sstpmutualaid.wordpress.com/

Special Notes

Want to send items directly to our volunteers? Use our Amazon wishlist to purchase our most requested supplies. Top needs from our community: Nonperishable foods: rice, beans, pasta, cooking oil, butter, maza, easy to prepare foods like ramen or Easy Mac Essentials: Menstrual products, deodorant, soap/body wash, and shampoo/conditioner Digital gift cards are also especially helpful, allowing us to quickly purchase food and essentials as needs arise. **Important: There is significant need in our community for diapers and baby supplies. SSTPMA is currently unable to fulfill these requests due to limited resources. If you’re able to support diapering needs, please contact Seven Oaks Mutual Aid (run by Andrew Taylor), which supports neighbors within about a 20-minute drive of Seven Oaks.
