For the Love of Aisha is a page that supports Aisha Clarke Martin and her family (Jared, Aiden, and Connor) as she goes through the journey of having breast cancer. Aisha was diagnosed with invasive mammary carcinoma (which could be ductal or lobular, they're not sure which) on the 21st of May 2026. "Invasive" = it's spread; "mammary" = it started in the ducts or lobules of her left breast, which are pathways that carry milk to the nipple and the sites of milk production; "carcinoma" = cancer. At least one lymph node tested positive during her biopsies. It was originally diagnosed as Stage 2A, but has been reassessed as Stage 3. Many things are covered by her insurance, but some crucial things are not (like protein drinks, transportation costs, and clothes for after surgery). As texting and emailing everyone separately won't be feasible for Aisha during treatment and after surgery, please join this page if you would like further updates on this journey, as it allows her to make one post that will get sent to everyone!
