For the Love of Aisha is a page that supports Aisha Clarke Martin and her family (Jared, Aiden, and Connor) as she goes through the journey of having breast cancer. Aisha was diagnosed with invasive mammary carcinoma (also known as invasive ductal carcinoma or IDC) on the 21st of May 2026 (very recently!). "Invasive" = it's spread; "mammary/ductal" = it started in the ducts of her left breast, which are pathways that carry milk to the nipple, "carcinoma" = cancer. At least one lymph node tested positive during her biopsies. The stage of her cancer is yet unknown and requires further testing. Many things are covered by her insurance, but some crucial things are not (like protein drinks and clothes for after surgery).
