Kimberlee Gregory's Fight Against Breast Cancer. Share love for the Gregory's!!!

Evansville, IN

Story

There are people who pass through our lives and leave only footprints. And then there are the rare ones who walk in and somehow become family — not by blood, not by marriage, but by heart. Kim is one of those people for me. I’ve only known her a few short years, but in that time she has become family in the truest sense of the word. She shows up. She loves deeply. She gives endlessly. She is the kind of person who makes other people feel safe, seen, and cared for. So when she received the devastating news of her cancer diagnosis, it felt like the ground shifted beneath all of us. There are no perfect words for what follows news like that. Fear. Anger. Uncertainty. Heartbreak. The quiet moments where your mind races. The loud ones where everything feels overwhelming. If you’ve ever loved someone through a battle like this, you understand. And now, it’s our turn. Kim and James have spent their lives caring for others. As professional caregivers, they are always the steady hands, the calm voices, the strong shoulders. They are the ones who show up when others are hurting. But they are not used to being the ones who need help. They would carry this quietly. They would shoulder it together. They would never ask. So we are asking for them. Cancer is not a sprint. It is a marathon — physically, emotionally, and financially. Kim’s treatment regimen will be grueling. There will be long days, hard nights, appointments, side effects, and exhaustion that most of us will never fully see. James needs to be able to focus on loving and caring for Kim. Kim needs to focus on healing and fighting. That’s where we come in. This page will serve as one central place for updates, needs, and ways to help. Meals. Errands. Encouragement. Financial support. Prayers. However you are able to show up — there will be a way. Needs will change week to week. We will post them here. You can sign up as you’re able. Every donation made through this platform goes directly to the Gregory family. We (Mike and Carson Shoulders) are simply organizing and communicating. The love, the generosity, the strength — that comes from all of you. If you’ve ever wondered how to help someone facing cancer, this is it. Show up. Share. Give. Pray. Encourage. Let’s surround them so tightly with support that they never have to wonder if they’re alone in this. The Gregory family is deeply grateful — more than words can express. And now? Now we fight. Now we rally. Now we stand with them. It’s time to beat this disease. LET’S GO.

Special Notes

Please no unexpected visitors. Cancer treatments are tiring. Kim's focus needs to be on fighting, not entertaining.
