Kim is one of those people for me. I’ve only known her a few short years, but in that time she has become family in the truest sense of the word. She shows up. She loves deeply. She gives endlessly. She is the kind of person who makes other people feel safe, seen, and cared for. So when she received the devastating news of her cancer diagnosis, it felt like the ground shifted beneath all of us.
