Help for the Abed Family

Story

I would like to introduce you to my niece Miranda, her husband Anas and their 18 month old daughter. On October 3, 2025, Miranda was diagnosed with HER2 Positive Invasive Ductal Carcinoma Breast Cancer that had spread to her lymph node. On this day, the fast forward button was pushed and the new normal they hadn’t planned for was now in place. Instead of the calendar showing happy events it was suddenly filled with several dr. appointments, scans, bloodwork. On October 21st, Miranda had the first of six dreaded chemo treatments. Every 18 days was a new chemo treatment which was then followed by the worse shot known to man 😭. Thankfully, on February 3, 2026, Miranda and her family was able to celebrate her chemo chapter coming to a close and rejoiced to hear her ring the bell. Unfortunately, this is not a one chapter story. Miranda has an upcoming double mastectomy surgery on March 9, 2026. During which time it would be extremely helpful if she could have some meals donated to her meal train. Since she follows a vegetarian diet, I only setup the gift card option. I set this option up until March 27th, to help them out while she recovers since she’ll have drain tubes and lifting restrictions. I know Anas will have his hands full as a caregiver and caring for a toddler. As of now, we know there will be radiation in her future and possibly more chemo, but I will update this post after we know more after surgery. Miranda’s medical treatments come with medical expenses that I don’t think anyone could ever save for. If you would like to contribute to her medical expenses I have linked her Go Fund Me Account. I know times are tough for everyone right now. Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated.
