It is with great sadness that I share some difficult news. On Monday morning, Megs son Kevin was involved in a tragic accident at work. After loading his dump truck with supplies he went to adjust a lever underneath the truck. Tragically, the truck rolled and crushed is pelvis, severed an artery, and severely injured his legs. As a result of the accident, his left leg has been amputated below the knee, and the doctors are working to reconstruct his right leg. He has undergone several surgeries to address the internal injuries as well. The trauma team at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center and ICU staff have been providing exceptional care and support throughout this incredibly difficult time. Many families and coworkers have asked how they can help Meg and her family as they face this long road to recovery.
