My mom is preparing for one of the biggest battles of her life, liver transplant. While we are incredibly grateful that this life-saving opportunity is possible, the road ahead will be long and overwhelming for her and our family. Along with the transplant itself comes a long recovery, frequent appointments, medications, transportation expenses, and time away from work for both my mom and the family members caring for her. The last thing we want her worrying about during this time is the financial burden that comes with focusing on getting healthy and healing. We are asking for help to surround my mom with as much love and support as possible during this journey. Any donation, no matter the amount, will go toward transplant-related expenses, medications, travel, household bills, and other costs that arise throughout her recovery. You are able to send cards and gifts, but no flowers are allowed in the ICU. At this time, our family asks that we limit the visitors to direct family members.
