We are creating this page because our beloved Andrea has been diagnosed with breast cancer. As she begins this journey, our hope is to surround her with love, prayer, and practical support—to help carry some of the weight so she doesn’t have to carry it alone. Andrea will undergo a lumpectomy on January 12 and will need time off work to recover. Unfortunately, she does not have enough paid time off to fully cover her absence. During this time, everyday needs—meals, medical expenses, medications, and basic living costs—can quickly become overwhelming. Andrea is a single woman who courageously takes care of herself emotionally, physically, and financially. While she has an incredible tribe of family and friends standing behind her, every act of kindness truly makes a difference. If you feel led, there are several ways to support her: • Prayers for healing, peace, and strength • Meal support to ease the day-to-day burden during recovery • Financial gifts through Venmo @Andrea-Smith-355 to help with bills, medical costs, medications, post-surgery supplies, and other necessities Most of all, this is a place to remind Andrea that she is deeply loved—thought of, prayed for, and supported. She is leaning strongly on her faith in God and the love of her family during this season. A message, a meal, a prayer, or a gift of any size helps lift her spirits and lighten her load. Thank you for being part of her village. Your kindness means more than words can say.
Andrea will be home during the day to receive meals or packages. She would love the opportunity to say hi to whoever has signed up for that evening’s meal, as long as you are feeling well and symptom-free. Some of their favorite foods are listed below.
