The Hui Family became a part of the Tenafly Volunteer Ambulance Corps (TVAC) when Joshua (Josh) Hui began volunteering in September 2010. During his twelve years on TVAC, Josh made an immense impact on the department as a EMT, Crew Chief, Lieutenant, Secretary, and friend. As a result of his dedication and service to TVAC, was made a Life Member when he resigned in January of 2023. Josh's love for TVAC spread to his younger sister, Joanna, who joined TVAC in June 2016. Joanna remains an active member and is currently the Secretary of TVAC, following in the footsteps of her brother, Josh. The Hui family has given so much to the TVAC and it is time that TVAC give back to them! On 3/8/23, the family experienced a house fire that has displaced them from their home for at least the next eight weeks. During this time, TVAC leadership is asking TVAC members to help the Hui family by providing meals for them. If you are unable to donate food but wish to donate money, please contact Joanna Hui.
