On September 26, 2024 Oakdale Firefighter/EMT Donald Fink (D.J.) was deployed to North Carolina through his employer Fayette EMS to assist in rendering medical aid for people affected by Hurricane Helene. Yesterday, D.J.’s mission changed. He and his crew were relocated to Fort Meyers Florida ahead of Hurricane Milton. D.J. Is a father of 4. While he is gone, with an unknown time frame for return to PA, his wife Jessica is holding it down! Dragging the kids to softball and soccer games and everything else that they’re involved in. As a company and our community, we are extremely proud of the work that D.J. is doing! Please keep D.J. and his family (especially Jess to keep her sanity) in your thoughts and prayers! I /we are hoping to ease Jessica's mind and help her and the kiddos with daily meals. This will help her tremendously and will put DJ's mind at ease while he is helping those folks that are in need from the recent hurricanes
