Meals for The Marins

Norton, MA

Story

Hi everyone! I am setting up this page to support my friend, Brianna, who is staring down some very serious health challenges right now. Two years later, Brianna continues to fight hard against Grade 4 Glioblastoma (the most aggressive and deadly form of brain cancer). While she continues to maintain her fighter's-spirit and positive outlook, over the last few months she has lost mobility in her left arm, has trouble walking, and she also had to leave her beloved job. Right now she is in a clinical trial at Dana Farber, receiving infusions every other week and chemo every six weeks; with physical and occupational therapy needed, too. All this and she's also a loving and active Mom to two beautiful children: Jackson (7) and Juliette (5). Brianna's friends and family have an active GoFundMe to help with the growing financial burden that this kind of diagnosis and treatment brings (link included on the page) - please do donate if you can. I thought that as an additional way to support Brianna and her family - and help make life easier on her (and Josh) - would be by providing meals, so she can put more of her energy towards getting/feeling better. When food is taken care of, it’s a lot easier to focus on the details that are most important. I am hoping our community can support The Marins in this way.

Special Notes

The Marins are: Brianna, Josh, Jackson (7), Juliette (5). The Marins enjoy everything and anything food-wise! They also enjoy many of the local restaurants in the area, if gift cards are easier. Local restaurant suggestions: Flaky Crust Pies, Mac & Walt's, GOAT City Pub, The Chateau, Fiesta, Bog Iron Brewing, Express Pizza, Raging Masshole Pizza, CAVA, Sweet Greens, Alberto's, Bagels & Cream, Tasty's Bagels - to name a few! NOTE: Josh is allergic to nuts and seeds. **This will be a no-contact drop off, please. Simply put the food in the cooler located in the front entryway - ring or knock - and head on your way. The Marins will grab the meal when ready.**
