Friends who are like family always show up for one another. Today, we’re asking you to keep one of our own in your thoughts and prayers. Many of you know Connie Reed, who dedicated many years to serving the children and families of Martin County. Connie spent many years at Warfield Elementary before most recently working in the Exceptional Student Education (ESE) Department for the Martin County School District. She has always had a heart for children and families, whether through her work, cheering on kids at local soccer games, or simply being there for others. Connie is currently battling cancer and is undergoing weekly chemotherapy and radiation treatments. Because of her treatments, she is unable to work while she focuses on her treatment and recovery. Please keep Connie, her family, and all who love her in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Your encouragement, kindness, and support mean so much as she faces this journey. Thank you for surrounding Connie with the love and care she has so freely given to so many others over the years. ❤️
Due to treatment, Connie’s diet is limited, gift cards to grocery stores or Visa is helpful.
