As many of you know, Jason has been facing some health challenges over the last few weeks. We now have a clear diagnosis: he is fighting a fast-growing neuroendocrine cancer. While this is a serious mountain to climb, we are walking into this battle with our heads held high and our hearts full of hope. We have put all our faith in God, and we know He is walking every step of this journey with us. We have an incredible medical team, and we will be starting chemotherapy within the next two weeks. We are incredibly optimistic because this specific type of cancer is known to be very sensitive to treatment—our goal is to see these tumors shrink and melt away. We’ve also been working with the experts at Vanderbilt. They are performing advanced genetic 'mutation' testing on the biopsy—looking at over 500 different pathways—which will allow our doctors to stay many steps ahead of this disease. We aren’t just treating this for today; we are planning for the future. We know this journey won’t be easy every day, but we are so incredibly thankful for the support of our family, friends, and community. Your prayers and love are the fuel we need. We believe in a path to healing, and we are ready for the fight! #RallyingwiththeRenfroe's #Hisfightismyfight #Testimonyinthemaking
Right now Jason's appetite isn't the best, and anything he can think of to eat, I am accommodating! Spicy, fried foods are pretty much a no go for us right now. Small portions are best. Lean meats. We have wonderful friends who have set up a meal train for us, the website is mealtrain.com/Orzlz5 Orange, mango allergy No: Mushrooms Limited pasta
