A note from beautiful friend, Abby: Friends & Family, Many of you know that I went to the hospital last week at 22 weeks pregnant for bleeding. After one night, I got sent home and was doing much better. Things took a downward turn on Tuesday when I started bleeding again at 23 weeks with concerning pain. We are now back at the hospital, taking it day by day. The team here is amazing, taking the best care of me and monitoring this precious baby boy. I will likely stay here until our baby is born, whenever that is. Again, taking it day by day. The prayer is, that our baby would stay healthy and in the womb as long as he possibly can. Pray for healing in my body and that the Lord would simply KEEP BABY AUGUST INSIDE! As you can imagine, this kind of news takes a toll on a family of 4 with a baby on the way. We have the absolute best extended family and “village” who have already been caring for our babies these last two hospital visits. Please pray for the Holy Spirit to equip Emmett and Iris for bedtimes and lots more moments away from Mama. (Sobbing as I type this) I know that if he’s asking me to walk this, He’s also asking them to walk it and He will help our family. Pray for my husband… my rock and my best friend. He’s always so steady for us but I know this is heavy for him to carry while still having the pressure to provide. Pray for our extended family who will be stepping in to care for our kids. Ask the Lord to give them the grace, the wisdom, and the discernment for the task. Thank you so much for praying for the above things. It means the world. With Abby in the hospital for the foreseeable future, coordinating meal drop-offs is challenging. Monetary donations are the most helpful option as they work out their schedule and what the coming weeks will look like.
