Hey Everyone!! Just a little backstory-Owen is 5 years old and was recently diagnosed with leukemia on 3/24. He had been having a lot of bruising and we couldnt figure out why, so we took him in, assuming he was low on iron or something simple. That was on a Monday. By Tuesday we were admitted to UCD and he was diagnosed with B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia. We got to go home 4/3, but returned 4/9 after Owen spiked a fever in clinic. So many people have reached out asking how to help, so we created this page as a simple way to support Owen during this time. Right now, the biggest need is help with food, gas, and parking while we are at the hospital. Gift cards are especially helpful, as Owen is autistic and has a small list of foods he feels comfortable eating—especially when he’s not feeling well. His favorites include : Burger King McDonald’s Domino’s And baked goods like cookies, cake, and brownies. Thank you all for showing Owen support!!🤍
