So....I have a tumor. (Don't worry, it's benign!) BUT, it does have to come out. It's called an Acoustic Neuroma. It's located in my left inner ear and has caused me to lose 80% of my hearing in that ear. Along with the hearing loss I have a constant tinnitus, balance issues, and some memory and cognitive issues. I've been asked by several people about a meal train, so here it is, all in one place. Surgery is scheduled for October 27th, I'll be in the hospital for 3-6 days following the surgery and then will be off of work for 1-2 months relearning how to walk and control my balance. Chris does most of our cooking but having to take the load off of him would be much appreciated as he will be having to take care of me in many other ways. We (myself and Chris) are so appreciative of the love, support and outreach we've received from our friends, family and community. We really cannot say thank you enough, but we don't know where we would be without all of you! Here's to a speedy and easy recovery!
Please let us know if you plan to stop by, always feel free to text/message/call to see where we're at. On a food note, I do have an avocado allergy and not a big fan of red sauces.
