With heavy hearts, we share that Donny Cofer passed away after a brave three-year battle with esophageal cancer, first diagnosed in June three years ago. Donny was deeply loved and will be remembered for the joy he found in music — especially drumming, which was one of his greatest passions. Music was part of his soul. His wife, Jenny, lovingly called him “Shadonny,” a nickname that perfectly captured his love and deep knowledge of music. We created this page to help support Jenny and the family as they walk through this heartbreaking loss.
