Welcome baby Everly 🌻

Salisbury, MD

Story

As Madeline and Corey embark on the journey of parenthood, let's rally around them with love, support, and of course, food! Whether it's a home-cooked favorite, money for food delivery, or takeout from one of their favorite restaurants, every meal will help make this transition smoother for them. ⬇️⬇️⬇️ Etiquette for dropping off a postpartum meal: Most importantly, remember that this is a special and sensitive time. Unless explicitly invited, do not assume you're welcome to come inside. New parents might be dealing with sleep deprivation, adjusting to new routines, or simply wanting some quiet time or don’t have the capacity for visitors. If you are invited in, keep your visit short and sweet. It is not a social call, but a gesture of support. Coordinate with the parents about the best time to drop off the meal. They might prefer a contactless drop-off or have specific nap times to work around. Prepare meals that are easy to reheat and eat, and do not bring meals in dishes that you expect them to have to clean and return. Disposable trays are best. The goal is to ease the burden on the new parents, not add to it. Your understanding and respect for their space and privacy during this time are just as valuable as the meal you're providing. Thank you!
