Thank you for taking the time to stop by as the last 9 months have been challenging. Aug 12, 2025 will be a day forever in my mind that changed my life. What started as a visit to my CMM Dr quickly turned into a CTscan, a trip to Vail Health followed by an ambulance ride to UChealth. Uncertain and uncomfortable times as I was wheeled for the first time onto an Oncology unit. After a trip to Florida to process and wrap my brain around medical bills and the looming diagnosis I started more testing in November with weekly trips to Denver. On Dec 2 I was diagnosed with non Hodgkins bcell follicular lymphoma. Quite the shock as my dog Raya passed the day before while I was in a procedure at UCHealth Anshutz December was a blur of jabs, tests and biopsies including a bone marrow I don’t recommend driving yourself to and from denver for that! January started four rounds of immunotherapy at Shaw a decision I made as the odds were in my favor. Unfortunately the numbers did not change And on April 1 my pet scan showed I also have breast cancer. Thank you for your love and support! It means more to me a than you know during this difficult emotional physical and financial process.
