Welcome to our support drive for the Bay Pines VA Fisher House, hosted by the Boca Ciega Chapter, NSDAR! Located on the grounds of the C.W. Bill Young VA Medical Center, the Bay Pines Fisher House serves as a compassionate "home away from home" for families of hospitalized Veterans and active-duty military members receiving inpatient care. Guest families stay completely free of charge, but they are responsible for their own daily groceries, meals, and household necessities while keeping a bedside vigil for their loved ones. We created this page to make it easy for our chapter members, friends, and community neighbors to lend a helping hand—no matter where you live! How Your Support Helps: Grocery & Retail Gift Cards: Allow families to pick up fresh food, meals, and personal care items during difficult, unpredictable hospital days. Pantry & Household Essentials: Help stock the communal kitchen and common areas with coffee, breakfast staples, paper goods, laundry supplies, and welcome essentials. Every contribution, whether large or small, directly wraps our military and veteran families in comfort and peace of mind when they need it most.
