Family in need of prayers and support. Zac is only 40 years old and has a beautiful 2-year-old daughter with his wife Emily. On June 9th he went in for what was supposed to be a routine heart catheterization. His heart stopped during the procedure, and he was rushed straight to Baptist Hospital. Yesterday he underwent emergency quadruple bypass surgery that lasted 10 long hours. Since then he’s been in the ICU fighting hard through complications with bleeding and low blood pressure. We’re so thankful to hear that his breathing tube was removed today and he’s now breathing well on his own. He’s still very groggy but has had a couple of short conversations. The bleeding is under control and he’s receiving the blood he needs. Emily has been by his side nonstop — she’s now on over 26 hours with no sleep while also trying to care for their little girl. This young family has already been through so much, and this has been incredibly overwhelming for them. Please keep Zac and Emily in your prayers.
