Our family is still grieving the sudden passing of my beloved son, Geontae, who was a loving son, brother, nephew, friend and devoted single father to his four beautiful children—Isaiah (10), Ka’preece (9), Nyiele (7), and Makai (5). For the past four years, Geontae dedicated his life to raising his children with love, strength, and consistency despite life’s challenges. With his unexpected transition, my daughter and I now have custody of the children, and we are doing our best to provide stability, comfort, and care as they navigate this heartbreaking loss.
