On September 17, 2025, we welcomed Anahlía Renée. Her birth came with unexpected complications—a complete shock and whirlwind of emotions for her parents and their families. She was cared for at Christ Children’s Hospital, where Derrik and Toni were deeply grateful for the compassionate, skilled team by her side. After a week in the NICU, Anahlía is home and already showing remarkable strength and resilience. Derrik and Toni have been unwavering—asking thoughtful questions, staying present, and adjusting to a new routine one day at a time. Your kindness means the world. For those still asking how to support them, here are a few ways to help: Meals: Home-cooked or delivery are both wonderful. Gift cards: Gas, grocery, or meal delivery (to help with frequent checkups). Notes & prayers: Messages of encouragement, love, and light are deeply appreciated. For homemade meal deliveries, please message me directly to coordinate privately—text/call Danielle at 219-433-8654 or Kaitlyn at 219-671-9044. Derrik and Toni live in Hammond, and it’s a long drive. Since family is traveling back and forth daily, we’ve arranged a nearby drop-off location; a labeled tote will be on the front porch. Thank you for the outpouring of texts, calls, and healing prayers for Baby Anahlía, Derrik, and Toni. We believe in miracles, and we believe in her. 💖🙏✨
