As most know Jason has been on his cancer journey since 2020. This year he started experiencing some debilitating back pain where we've been managing with a spine doctor and today 6/15 he went in for surgery to have a microdisection of his disc's. The surgery itself went well to improve his pain, however coming out of anesthesia he struggled with his breathing when they took out his breathing tube. At that point they decided to reintubate and sedate him and move him to the ICU to recover and hopefully improve his breathing over the next 24 hours. I'm not one to ask for help when things go wrong but I do know dinners are the hardest thing for me to get done when I'm struggling and right now I'm on the struggle bus seeing Jason in this state as he is my person and the #1 person I get to argue about what's for dinner with.
