Support for Our Brother Faro and His Family As many of you know, one of our own at the Apopka Fire Department recently suffered a medical emergency. He is still in the hospital, bravely fighting to recover. While he focuses on healing, his family is carrying the heavy weight of worry, hospital visits, and the many challenges that come with such a sudden, life-changing event. Faro has spent his career answering the call for others—rushing into danger, protecting strangers, and putting his community before himself. Now it’s our turn to answer the call for him. We are organizing a Meal Train to support his family during this difficult time. By providing meals, we can help lighten their load, making sure they have one less thing to worry about as they care for him and each other. Every meal, every gesture of kindness, reminds them that they are not alone—that their extended fire family and community are here, standing shoulder to shoulder with them. Please consider joining us in this effort. Whether it’s cooking a homemade dish, sending a gift card, or donating to help cover meals, your generosity will make a real difference. Together, we can show Faro and his family the same strength he has shown countless others. Thank you for being part of this support network. Let’s rally around our brother and lift his family up in the way only a strong community can.
There will be a drop off area located at the front door. We kindly ask that you drop off around 6pm and don’t ring the doorbell. Please understand that the family is greatly appreciative of all the support but is a bit overwhelmed at this time and not up for visitors.
