As I travel to Los Angeles August 24–27 to record a podcast, I hope to turn this trip into an opportunity to make a difference. One of the ways I continue to honor my daughter’s memory and navigate my grief is by serving those experiencing homelessness—especially the young people who remind me so much of her. I’m asking for support in the form of gift cards (or donations that will be used to purchase them) so I can hand out meals, water, hygiene items, and other basic necessities to those I meet while I’m there. A simple gift card can provide someone with a hot meal, a moment of dignity, and the freedom to choose what they need most. Every act of kindness helps someone else, but it also helps heal a piece of my own heart. Thank you for helping me spread compassion, hope, and love in my daughter’s honor. Your generosity will have a lasting impact on the lives of those who need it most.
