As many of you know, our mom Karen was admitted to the hospital on Wednesday, February 4 from an unexpected infection. She was diagnosed with Necrotizing Fasciitis (flesh-eating bacterial disease) and is currently being treated at Barnes Jewish Hospital. She has already undergone two surgeries, with another scheduled for Monday, Feb. 9. She is blessed to have a wonderful team of doctors and caretakers, including our Dad, Larry. They have a long road of healing ahead of them, and we are hopeful she will soon be moved from the ICU and also be able to come home within the week. While our Dad doesn't like asking for help, we know he would appreciate a delicious meal after a long day at the hospital. For approximately the next week, he will be home alone and once our Mom returns, she will appreciate the comfort of a meal as well. From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU!
