Below is Stacey's original post: Jacob is having a very hard time with memory loss after the surgery on 11/18/25 to remove the pituitary tumor. Specifically, he’s forgetting the last 3 years of his life. He believes we are in year 2022 and we still live in GA. He cried literal tears (and he doesn’t ever cry) when he found out that it’s 2025 and that Levi is no longer 2 years old and he can’t remember our kids growing over the last 3 years. He doesn’t know about all of our big life changes in the last year. He didn’t remember why he was in the hospital. He had no clue that he had a tumor. He thinks he’s still the pastor of SHBC, living in the house beside the church and looking for land, he has know clue that we are living in NC and church planting and he doesn’t even know that LJ was created and is now with Jesus. 😭 The NP just informed me that he may or may not regain his memory. As you can imagine this will be absolutely horrible. I will have to explain to him everything that’s happened over the last 3 years and I can’t even fathom how that will go over. He’s currently getting an MRI to check his brain. Please pray the Lord restores his mind and body. 🙏🏼 I didn’t want to share this personal info but I truly just need as many people as possible praying for him. Also, please pray for his oxygen levels and blood pressure to stay stable. He is having issues with that too. A praise though: His pain level is way more tolerable and the nausea is gone now! 🙌🏼 I’m so exhausted I can barely function so I hope all that made sense. Thank y’all for holding us up prayer! 🫶🏻
