Many of you already know some of the struggles Lisa and Rob have been facing as Rob continues to live with an undiagnosed neurological disease. Sadly, Lisa has now been facing serious health challenges of her own. Earlier this year, Lisa was diagnosed with minimal change disease, a kidney condition, and she has been fighting to reach remission for the past eight months. In late August, she began experiencing new symptoms, and doctors discovered a large mass on her uterus and ovary. On October 9, she will undergo surgery to find out if the mass is cancer and whether it has spread. This has been an incredibly heavy season for the Alford family. Rob has been out of work for quite some time, and Lisa has only been able to work off and on. With her upcoming surgery and the long recovery ahead, they are facing many unknowns. As their family, we are asking for your love, prayers, and support.
