On August 7, our dear friend and best friend, Rebecca, received the news no one ever wants to hear: she has breast cancer. Rebecca will be traveling to Dallas, Texas, for surgery on September 30. This will be an intensive surgery, and the recovery will be a difficult and lengthy one. Once she returns home, she will have very limited mobility and will not be able to move around or get out very much for the first 3–4 weeks of her recovery. During this time, her family will be focused on caring for Rebecca and helping her heal. We would love to surround them with the same love, support, and kindness that Rebecca has so freely given to so many of us over the years. One simple way to help ease the burden on the family is by providing dinner on one of the available nights listed below. Having a meal taken care of will allow the family to focus less on cooking and more on what matters most—Rebecca’s healing and recovery. If you are able to help, please consider signing up to provide a dinner on one of the nights below. Every meal, no matter how big or small, will mean so much. And if you aren’t able to provide a meal, please don’t feel that you can’t help. Your prayers, thoughts, messages, encouragement, and continued support are just as meaningful. Please keep Rebecca, Josh, Lana, and Charlotte in your hearts as they navigate this challenging time. Cancer is a journey no family should have to face alone. Let’s come together to remind Rebecca and her family that they are surrounded by people who love them and are here to help carry them through the hard days. With love, hope, and strength for Rebecca and her family. ❤️
FYI, Becca’s birthday is October 17, maybe add a cake!!!
