Doreen has been a major contributor to the community for many years running the food bank in Whitehall! In mid May she was unfortunately diagnosed with Grade 4 Glioblastoma. She went through 6 weeks of chemo and radiation which did not help. Her tumors doubled in size and more developed. With weakness on the right side of her body she ended up falling two months ago and breaking her leg. She underwent surgery to repair her leg and she had many complications since with a major seizure being one of them. She was given the option to go home on hospice. She got home a few days ago and it's been rough especially with meals. Everyone is doing the best we can with helping her since she cannot walk anymore. With emotional and physical exhaustion dinners are very tough on the family. Even if you can help with one night of dinner it means a lot!!! Thank you!!!
