On Mother’s Day 2026, my husband assaulted me in front of our children. He was the sole financial provider after granting me the opportunity to raise our child so I have been without work for 17 months. After he was arrested and charged, I placed a restraining order on him. His mother told me via text that he would still send financial support for our child, but has yet to do so.
