Gerard Palattao is a husband, father, nurse and dear friend to many in the world and across multiple communities such as Crossfit Park Ridge and Hiraya Training House. Always a shining light to any room he walks into, he has never hesitated to show how much he cares for the people in his life. Gerard was recently diagnosed with stage 3 throat cancer and underwent a procedure at the end of May to have the tumor removed. Although the procedure was successful, the recovery process will be long, not only having to go through radiation therapy, but also living life with a tracheostomy tube and feeding tube for basic life support.
