If you’re here I’m sure you know the story but if you’re not caught up- Shannon needed emergency surgery for a perforated bowel. Classic Shannon tried to push through until the pain literally made her stop and head to the ER. The recovery for this is not easy and is not quick. Mike and the kids are doing their best to cook and clean but they all 3 have jobs on top of making sure that Shannon actually takes some time to rest and recover! Shannon is always the first to step up and help but the last to ask for help. She has finally allowed me to put it out there for someone (or many!) to come help do things like clean up around the house, run laundry through (and then put it away but to let her fold some!), bring over some food and other things that may come up while you’re there. If you’d like to schedule a time to come out to her house, let me know! *If you live too far or are unable to come, Walmart+ delivery comes to her house if you’d like some suggestions on things she likes or needs! I also have an amazon list of things she has mentioned wanting or snacks that they usually keep at home!
Shannon and her family have a very limited diet (Grain free, Gluten free, no additives, etc) so if you do plan on making or bringing her food please reach out to me to ensure it is something she can eat! She would love to sit and talk with you, she is dying for some human interaction!
