Supporting the Kempfs

W
Story

Last spring my sister Suzanne Kempf was diagnosed with breast cancer... for the second time. In the process of being diagnosed they found that there were two tumors- one was BRCA related and the other was a unrelated, much more aggressive form of cancer. Since then, she had had the tumors removed but needs to undergo both Chemotherapy AND Radiation to prevent the cancer from returning. Suzanne is very active, she 2 sons and she is very involved in the Holy Ghost Church and school. She holds a position on the PTL and is also a room mom. She coached the Holy Ghost JV boys basketball team and coaches Lew-Port youth flag football and tackle football. Previously she was a football coach for Niagara Wheatfield youth football. She is also a member of the Niagara Celtic Heritage Society and volunteers preparing for and during the annual Celtic Festival. Suzanne owns Flour in my Pocket which is currently not taking new orders at this time. However, Suzanne has donated treats to Holy Ghost countless times for fundraisers, teacher appreciation weeks, and birthdays/holidays. Now it's our turn to return the favor! During chemo Suzanne is going to be tired, weak and sore. At home she has her husband, 2 boys, and 2 dogs. While they will be supporting her her kids attend school and Jon works full time- the dogs are just cute, lazy freeloaders. I am simply asking that you take a little time out and prepare a meal for her to take something off her plate. If you can't cook, gift cards are always accepted as well. Let's support Suzanne and her family in the way they have supported so many of us

Special Notes

There are 4 people in the family including boys who are 11 and 9 and have good appetites! There are no allergies or strong dislikes. Suzanne does live in Lewiston but if you absolutley can not make it, both myself and her parents live in Town of Niagara near the airbase and can sometimes take meals to them. Gift cards are also appreciated!
