Dear Sorors, Soror Afenee Baldwin’s mother passed away a few weeks ago. The family, as they are making legal arrangements for custody, is facing significant financial burdens. Most impacted are five minor children in need of basic necessities such as food and clothing. LLZ has already gathered school supplies, including book bags, to assist. However, if you would like to contribute further, the children are in need of clothing and shoes in the following sizes: Girl, 13 years old – Shirt: 2XL, Pants: 2XL, Shoes: 9.5 Girl, 13 years old – Shirt: Medium, Pants: 14–16, Shoes: 9.5 Boy, 13 years old – Shirt: 14–16, Pants: (same size range), Shoes: 8.5–9 Boy, 8 years old – Shirt: 10, Pants: 10, Shoes: 5 Girl, 9 years old – Shirt: 8, Pants: 8, Shoes: 1 (kids) Each of the children is attending Baldwin Elementary or Middle School. You may bring new clothing items to our first chapter meeting on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at the Homewood Library or may contribute via GiveInKind Donations.
