Please read her statement as follows: "After leaving my abusive marriage, I’d been unhoused for a month and staying in Airbnbs while waiting on approval for low-income housing. I was just barely approved after working super hard on my housing application. After being severely assaulted and SA’d by an Airbnb host while I was weak from starvation and fibromyalgia pain, I missed a shift. I lost my income and was instantly denied housing approval. I began bouncing between shelters and sleeping outside. I then took the bus for 4 hours to go to a DV shelter, and they turned me away. I was stranded in Olympia and was robbed of the few belongings I had left. I’m currently in a temporary shelter, hoping to get into a 90-day shelter where I can apply for housing again. To be approved, I must return to work so l have a proven income. Thank you for literally any help or support you're able to give."
