Surrounding the Pronko family with love

Bellvue, CO

Story

Jocey Pronko was more than a devoted wife to Brian and a loving mother to Rex—she was a guiding light in her community and profession. As a specialized Critical Care and Emergency veterinary nurse at Colorado State University’s Veterinary Teaching Hospital for over 24 years, Jocey dedicated her life to the care of animals and the education of future veterinary nurses. She was a natural mentor—funny, kind, and endlessly generous with her time and wisdom. Whether she was leading a class, comforting a client, or supporting a colleague, Jocey brought warmth, strength, and heart to everything she did. Her legacy lives on in the many lives she touched, both human and animal. In honor of Jocey, we are organizing a food drive and a fundraiser to support her family during this difficult time and help cover funeral and medical costs. If you would like to contribute a meal, please sign up using the food schedule on this website. All meals must be gluten-free, and we kindly ask that any flower donations not include lilies, as they are highly toxic to cats. Your support—whether through a meal, a donation, or a kind word—means the world to Brian, Rex, and everyone who loved Jocey.
