Team Staci Clemmer

Murphy, TX

Story

This morning, Staci learned that she has been diagnosed with MDS, a type of blood cancer. Over the past few weeks she has gone through extensive testing, including a bone marrow biopsy, two ER visits, and a three-day hospital stay. As you can imagine, this is a lot to process. Staci is leaning on her faith and her strength, and she remains hopeful and determined. In the coming weeks, Staci will begin chemotherapy treatments. During this time, the best thing we can give her is our prayers, encouragement, and space to focus on her health and healing. Her chemo starts in a few weeks — 5 to 7 days straight, then a month off, then repeat. Hopefully, no bone marrow transplant will be needed, but that’s the next step if it comes to that. This is just a bump in the road. Love deeply and never take a single minute for granted.

Special Notes

See below to sign up to bring a meal for Staci and Kari. No allergies, but they would like to limit their sugar intake. They like China Fang, The Back yard and Rosa's and of course anything home cooked. Please leave the food on the bench at the front door, and text Staci to let her know it is there. The dogs go crazy when someone is at the door, and that is just too much to handle right now. If you want to see Staci, let her know and if she is feeling up to it, she would come out of the garage to meet you so as not to make the dogs crazy.
