Jamie's Recovery Train

York New, NY

Story

On 5/13/24, Jamie woke up from a nap in extreme shoulder pain and was taken by a friend to the ER. While in the ER, he experienced a seizure, bit his tongue, had a cardiac event, and sustained major orthopedic injuries in both of his shoulders requiring a bilateral surgery to repair. For the next 7 weeks he was in two hospitals and a rehabilitation center that was far away from where we live while his initial injuries were healing up and we've now moved on to the home-care/outpatient portion of his recovery story as of July 2nd! This is a place for the enormous outpouring of love and support we have received so far to unfold and be organized as he takes the next step toward wellness and full-180 degree rotation.
