My mom, Donna Smith, is having major back surgery on December 9th at St. Mary’s Hospital in Huntington, WV. They are going to be placing rods & screws into her back and she will be required to spend one night in the hospital and will be off work for approximately 2-3 months. Due to the severity of the surgery, it is required that she have someone stay with her for at least a week-two weeks prior to. I am planning on staying with her, but along with my sister, I also work a full-time job. So my sister & I I will be taking care of my mother, her animals, and ours all on top of cooking, cleaning, and working. Anyone who knows my mother, knows she would do any and everything for anyone that she could. You probably also know that she won’t take a handout from anyone and is a very hard worker. But, we figured we would put together a meal train to try and help us out some the week of her surgery. Do NOT feel obligated, but any help is greatly appreciated ♥️
