Hi everyone! As many of you might know, Alex and Annamarie are expecting their second baby girl early November this year. At Annamarie's 20 week ultrasound, they noticed she had a shortened cervix. This prompted follow up appointments which showed further shortening, followed by an emergency procedure to prevent further progression. Baby looks great and Annamarie is recovering at home. Unfortunately, the doctors gave Annamarie strict bedrest orders for the next 3 months. She is not allowed to grocery shop, pick up Quinn, go to the park, or be standing for any extended period of time. Both Nonna (Rie's mom) and Baba (Alex's mom) have stepped in to take care of Quinn during the week days while Alex works. Their biggest challenge right now will be dinners.
