Larry’s tackling cancer

W
Story

I have started this page to help support my dad Larry Putnam as he is going through chemo and radiation to treat his lung cancer that was found in February of this year. He has done great through the first several weeks of treatment, but has run into either an infection or lots of inflammation in his lungs that have him short of breath, even when walking very short distances and extremely tired. If you know my dad, you know he typically eats out most of his meals but is currently not feeling up to going out multiple times a day. Jill, Adam and I have been making sure he eats but we thought that organizing a meal train would be one way his family and friends could support him during this time as we’ve had lots of questions about how people can help.

Special Notes

Dad is not an adventurous eater, he does not typically enjoy Mexican food and his taste buds have been impacted somewhat by chemo, making spicy things taste bitter to him.
