Many of us know Karry as a true bright light in our workplace (Phoenix Fire Department Regional Dispatch Center - PFDRDC), a constant source of kindness, encouragement, and positivity. She's already a bona fide helper; fully cross-trained Fire and Emergency Dispatcher for the 2nd largest secondary PSAP in the nation but she also coordinates cheer between our partnering communication centers or lifting spirits for those who have lost a loved one, or welcoming new arrivals by starting meal trains. Karry ALWAYS has shown up for others with a full heart. Now it is our turn to show up for her. Karry has recently been diagnosed with breast cancer and will be undergoing surgery March 27, 2026. As she begins her journey towards total healing and wellness, we have an opportunity to surround her with the same love and care she has so generously given to all of us.
