My children are going through something no child should have to endure. Their father, Jay Horn, had a medical emergency on April 23rd that required CPR. He was transported via ambulance to the hospital, where he remains. He has brain bleeds, skull fractures, left side arm and leg weakness and memory issues. Jess and Colby are missing work and losing wages to be by his side. They are exhausted, worried, anxious, and every other imaginable emotion as they wait, minute by minute, for some form of positive change. This page is being started to help ease some of the financial burden they are experiencing as they keep vigil by their dad. At this time, they are asking that Jay has no visitors at the hospital to allow his body to try to heal without distraction. The number of visitors allowed is minimal and at this time it needs to be family.
Gift cards that can be used to have food door dashed to them at the hospital or where they could place a to go order would be greatly appreciated. Visa/Master Card/etc gift cards are also an option and would be appreciated. Those can be used anywhere and would also help with fuel expenses as they are having to make trips between Abilene and Lubbock.
