On Friday, February 20th, Karrie and David went to a regularly scheduled OBGYN appointment. Her blood pressure was concerningly high and she was sent to the adjacent hospital, Banner Ironwood, for additional tests and monitoring. She was diagnosed with preeclampsia and airlifted to Banner Desert late that evening. At 27 weeks pregnant, Karrie is now facing 7 weeks of bed rest at the hospital. We are hoping to rally their community to support them in multiple ways over the coming weeks. This includes visitors at the hospital for Karrie, housework and pet support for David, a meal train to support both Karrie and David, and a massive amount of PRAYERS. This page will also serve as a place to get updates on how the family is doing.
